Birthday Wishes...and a wedding

Thanks for the birthday wishes. You are all too kind. I spent my birthday (Friday, April 25) in class. It's going to be a STRESSFUL semester. It did not feel like a birthday. One of my friends brought a cake to our last class. That was so nice of her. Then I traveled to UT for Ashlie's wedding.

Ashlie's wedding was amazing. I love going to sealings in the temple. I tried to count how many I have been to. I think this was #18, but I'm not sure about the exact number. The spirit was prominent and she and her husband Bryce were beaming the entire day. It's so good to see her get a good enough 'catch'. He will cherish her for sure.

I was told I forgot the most important thing off my list for my birthday. A boyfriend!

My Birthday

So, I know everyone wants to get something for me for my big birthday coming at the end of the month. I'll be 30. Groan, gnashing of teeth, aching in the bones. Yup, I'll be that old. So, I thought I would suggest a few items that I would like so you don't have to guess.

1-Money is always good, especially since I'm a starving student again
(Donations of food are welcome as well)
2-I pod shuffle found at http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?mco=45025EAB&engr=23CABF1E
3-Books as follows (in no particular order):
Princess Academy by Shannon Hale
Book of a Thousand Days by Shannon hale
River Secrets by Shannon Hale
Austenland by Shannon Hale
The Host by Stephenie Meyer
Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict by Laurie Viera Rigler
Me and Mr. Darcy by Alexandra Potter
(I think you get the idea of what I'm interested in right now)
4-Movies: National Treasure 2; Cars; Enchanted; August Rush; 27 Dresses; 2 Week's Notice; Scarlette Pimpernel; etc.
5-Clothes (if you're serious enough to buy me these, let me know so I can give you my size in private...I don't want the world to know just how large in stature I really am)

Well, at least it's an idea. A nice little card will do, too. Or an email. I will be spending my birthday in class and then in a car down to UT for Ashlie's wedding. Oh, happy day.
