Buddy's Birthday

My little buddy, Cannon, turned 2 last week. Here are a few pictures from his birthday party. Most of the pictures were taken by his 3 (almost 4) year old brother. Pretty good, I would say!

Movie Survey

I got tagged. Here we go:

1. The total number of movies I own: Hmm, I would guess roughly 50. Most are older VHS ones that I can't convince myself to get rid of.

2. The last movie I bought: Two Week's Notice (had the VHS version, but not the DVD)

3. The last movie I saw: In the theater....can't remember. Been too long. At home...Little Women.

4. Five movies that mean something to me: "A Boyfriend for Christmas" because the girls in the family watch it every Thanksgiving. "The Scarlette Pimpernel" because it's good and it's one of the first movies I remember watching with my mom and dad. "Emperor's New Groove" because one Thanksgiving in Provo I watched it about 10 times with another apartment of friends (it's hillarious!). "Ocean's 11" because I can watch it over and over and never get tired of looking at the beautiful men (the movie is good, too). Any "Veggie Tales" that I get to watch with my nieces because I get to spend time with them and they are funny.

5. Tag three people and have them do this on their blogs: Nina, Linda, Meridith

Violins and Lawns

I had the opportunity to accompany a girl who played her violin. We practiced yesterday. I almost melted at the tone quality of her violin. So mellow. She played Jesus Once Was a Little Child. Next week we will do it in my ward. It's so pretty. Mom, it's a Jenny Oaks Baker. You would melt, too.

Yesterday I was able to mow Mark's lawn. I almost got to mow a friend's lawn, but theirs wasn't ready. So, I was glad that Mark let me do his. I love mowing lawns, especially when I can do it with a riding lawnmower. I am sore today, surprisingly. Guess old bumpy lawnmowers can make you a little sore. I loved it, though. My allergies weren't too happy, but I'll live.

1st day of Preschool

This semester for one of my classes, I work in a preschool lab. Today was the first day that the kids came for the full time. It's only for two hours, but my body tells me it was at least 10. My back, feet, joints, everything hurt. I wish I had a hot tub to soak in....hmmmm. Wouldn't that be nice?
